The much-anticipated Annual Cricket Encounter 2023, organized by the Ananda College Old Hosteler’s Guild, proved to be a roaring triumph for the second consecutive year. With over 150 participants from more than 20 batches, the event took place on August 12th, 2023, at the vibrant Shalika Ground in Narahenpita. The atmosphere was electric, with an abundance of excitement, lively DJ performances, and the infectious beat of the traditional papare music.

The crowning glory of the tournament was the victory achieved by the 2015 hostel batch, securing the championship for the second consecutive year. The runner-up position was claimed by the 2008 hostel batch, showcasing the fierce competition and spirit of sportsmanship that graced the matches.
